Without Live
With event credits, the event can import its heats from LiveHeats or from other systems via CSV, or be set up by hand in minimal mode (heats with jersey colours). In those cases there are no official results and no broadcast.

Judging hours only count at events with an organiser, because the organiser is the one who validates them.
Frequently asked questions
- Do invited judges have to pay?
- No. The organiser buys an event credit with seats for its judges, head judges and event admin; anyone judging by invitation pays nothing.
- What is a seat?
- One person's place at an event: judge, head judge or event admin. Each credit comes with its seats and, if you need more, you buy extra seats.
- Do support judges and the spotter pay?
- No. Support judges are free, up to as many as the event has judge seats, and the spotter joins with a QR code, no account needed.
- What if a seat is missing mid-event?
- Buy an extra seat on the spot and that person keeps judging.
- What if the event is postponed?
- The credit isn't lost: until the event starts, it can be moved to another event. It expires 6 months after purchase.
- How do sport packs work?
- Basic and Pro include one sport. To use more, add a pack for each sport, at the same price on Basic and Pro. Sports you buy can't be swapped for others.
- Why are there no prices yet?
- We are finalising prices with the clubs, schools and federations in our pilot. Where you see “?”, the price is still to be confirmed; the unit below it (per credit, per event, per month, per year) already shows how each product will be charged.
- What is the founder code?
- A discount for our first customers. The code is private and handed over in person: write to info@judgelog.app if you're interested.
- Who validates judging hours?
- The event organiser, through its head judge. That's why hours only count at events with an organiser. If your federation recognises hours for its judge training, that is its decision.
- What if the connection drops mid-heat?
- The app keeps the event permission on the tablet. Judging carries on offline, and a heat in progress is never interrupted.
- Can I keep using LiveHeats?
- Yes, with event credits: you import the event from LiveHeats, official scores stay there and JudgeLog records each judge’s manoeuvres and their judging hours. Live is for those who want to do everything with JudgeLog, with official results and live broadcast.
